STEM Horizons

STEM Horizons is a student-led science fair hosted at Crescent School. Participants are encouraged to showcase their creativity and ingenuity within the world of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.


THE CAUSE

Scientists in School is a leading charitable organization for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education in Canada that offers engaging and hands-on workshops for children in kindergarten through Grade 8.


All proceeds of STEM Horizons will fund future Scientists in School workshops for underserved communities in Toronto. Your fundraising help will benefit the education of many children who lack relevant STEM engagement.

The Event

What?


To enter, participants must commit to fundraising a minimum of $250. All proceeds will be

donated to Scientists in School to provide STEM enrichment to underserved communities.



Teams who do not meet the $250 minimum may still compete but will not be eligible for prizes.

When?


STEM Horizons will take place on April 13, 2024.

Where?


STEM Horizons will take place at Crescent School in Toronto. Crescent is an accredited CIS school in Canada.

Who?


Any high school student from Ontario is permitted to participate in the fair. Participants can be individuals or teams of up to three people.


We encourage anyone and everyone to donate in support of the fair and the cause!

Category 1:  Scientific Phenomena

The classic science fair category. Pick a topic or concept and use your creative communication skills to teach your audience.
